romps down streets.

and stomps through puddles.

and socks soaked over the tops of galoshes. 

and squealing. 

and slippery chases through the drizzly park fields. 

and heading back with loud songs sung, to forget the damp.

and steaming, warming drinks. 

and radiators hissing as you clamber up the stairs.
