yes, please, to the brooklyn living and studio space of set designer johanna burke (via freunde von freunden). you can see, in the images below, some of her in-progress work for the holiday window displays, for bergdorf goodman (oh, how i miss those manhattan window displays, during the christmas season) ..
side note: my own living/studio space, during my brooklyn days, was not quite so grande >>> so much so, that i actually used to visit the brooklyn ikea and sit in one of the 'bedrooms' overlooking the river, just to pretend, for awhile, that i lived in such a place (the stereotypical new york apartment, as depicted in nearly every film set in the big apple). i wish now that i'd snapped a picture of the continual line of new yorkers sitting on that ikea bed, all looking toward the giant windows with the same wistful expression...

What an amazing space. I remember that view from Ikea and the one form the grocery. Those people have the prime real estate.
