inspiration on a thursday...
well, i was working on a completely different post today, when i happened upon the work of london stylist twig hutchinson. before i move on, i need to address this term 'stylist'. afraid this word simply does not quite do justice to the loveliness of the world twig hutchinson creates... 'one who makes beauty'? yes, that works better for me. okay, moving on
there is a vague recollection in my mind of searching for bedroom design (as part of the aforementioned incomplete post)... what i remember clearly is gratefully sinking into this sea of covers, ready to dream the hours...
soaking with a cleansing touch warmed by fire...
inhaling the sun dried breeze, slipping through the flutter in bare feet...
kneading my heart, nourishing my body and soul...
a respite as the light glides back home...
pulling me toward a slumbering dream once more
well, you can see how easily i'm pulled into a nice daydream, as my work sits around me, patiently waiting for my hands to move away from the keyboard and on to needle and thread
i suppose the bedroom post will just have to wait until another day
